International Women's Day 2022

International Women’s Day, a day to celebrate the achievements of women, give them motivation to continue marching ahead and most importantly aim for a world which considers gender equality as the primary motto.

It has been said and proved many times that a woman is capable of managing multiple roles. Be it a role of mother and a house-wife, a working-professional and wife, a student and elder daughter, be it any combination, if motivated enough women excel in their roles. Not only do they bring life into the world, but also have the caliber to imbibe good teachings in them.

In the past, women were not motivated enough, they weren’t aware of their rights and the equality they were entitled to. This caused them to believe that it is only the house work they are supposed to do. But now, the world is changing, more and more doors are opening up for women, and each time a woman enters that door with full confidence, we get personalities who bear the power to inspire the world.

However, these equal opportunities call out for much more from women. Not only do they need to be explored to their full potential, but also they need to be utilized for the betterment of women and children. For example, healthcare is one domain where women do not get complete access to resources at the time of need. Many times these needs are ignored considering it to be something petty or majority of times people aren’t aware about the seriousness of those problems. 

Here’s where women can be motivated to step in, to bring about awareness around the world. We do find women in many different job roles, but there’s much more that can be achieved if explored more. The seriousness about issues like malnutrition, menstrual problems in women and also climate change which as recently highlighted by the UN is linked to gender equality can be highlighted and worked upon together. 

Moreover, the strength which women possess is beyond everything. They have the power to bring about a revolution and that's what is the need of the hour. Let’s buckle up and work together and make this world a better place to live in, a safe place to share things in and a beautiful place to put efforts in.
